On 25th September, the students of Don Bosco High School participated in the NIE Online Contest – Eye Eye Captain on the theme ‘Importance of Eye Health and Regular Eye Check-Ups.’ The contest was open to children between 3 to 16 years, giving them the chance to express their ideas through essays, drawings, poems, songs, skits, reels, or digital presentations.

We are proud to announce that Etzel Dsouza from Class 5B participated and won the first place in the 10–16 years category. He recited a meaningful poem that stressed the importance of good eye health and regular eye check-ups. For his outstanding effort, he received a cash prize of ₹7,500.

The contest aimed to create awareness among students about healthy vision, better screen-time habits, and regular eye care. It inspired children to spread this important message creatively among their friends and community.
