Yoga Day, 22nd June 2026

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” – The Bhagavad Gita

Conference Hall buzzed with energy as students from Std V and VI rolled out mats. Leading the session: Mrs. Merily Lobo, fitness instructor for 8 years, had the whole room stretching, breathing, and smiling in minutes.

Mrs. Lobo didn’t just lead poses. Mrs. Lobo explained why each one mattered — how a simple asana could help focus better in class, build strength, and keep bodies healthy even on busy school days. The kids didn’t just follow along, the kids asked questions, tried again, and really got what yoga is about.

Session wrapped up with Miss Reena Christopher thanking everyone, and Mrs. Lobo received a jade plant from Miss Christina Mascarenhas and Supervisor Miss Daksha Tandel as a small thank you for a big impact.

One hour, lots of stretches, and a room full of students left feeling calmer and stronger. That’s a Yoga Day well spent.

“Yoga is the journey of the self...”

Thank you.
