Under-16 (Div-I) Football Team Crowned Champions of the Prestigious MSSA Jhaveri Cup.

Don Bosco High School, Matunga, has once again etched its name in school football with a magnificent victory in the prestigious MSSA Jhaveri Cup.

Our U-16 football team displayed exceptional skill, determination and composure to emerge as Champions in this highly competitive tournament.

The final was played on 13th August 2026 at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra, against Arya Vidya Mandir, Juhu. With the coveted Jhaveri Cup at stake, our boys rose to the occasion and delivered a commanding performance, securing a well-deserved 2–0 victory.

The breakthrough came through a brilliantly executed free kick by Prajeet Vinayagamoorthy, giving Don Bosco the crucial lead. The team continued to maintain pressure with disciplined play and relentless determination. Harsh Birje then found the back of the net to seal the victory and spark celebrations for the Don Bosco contingent.

Winning the MSSA Jhaveri Cup is a significant achievement and a proud moment for Don Bosco High School, Matunga. The triumph reflects the team's hard work, commitment, teamwork and never-say-die spirit.
