The Silver Jubilee of our Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi Dsouza- Ms. Vailena Dsouza

For the Almighty has done great things for me!This verse, close to the heart of our Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi Dsouza, beautifully captured the spirit of an evening filled with gratitude, joy and togetherness as the school fraternity celebrated his Silver Jubilee.The celebration began on a reverent note with Holy Mass in the Crypt. The staff members gathered in thanksgiving, reflecting on Father’s 25 years of devoted priestly service and the grace that has guided his journey.Following the Mass, heartfelt wishes were exchanged and the warmth of the occasion was captured through group photographs, filled with candid smiles and shared happiness. The gathering then moved to the tastefully decorated quadrangle, whose welcoming ambience set the stage for the celebrations that followed.The programme was smoothly anchored by the lively and well-coordinated comperes, Ms. Rochelle and Ms. Vailena, whose humour and charming rapport instantly engaged the audience. The evening opened with a grand march and seamlessly flowed into an energetic dance, drawing enthusiastic applause and setting a celebratory rhythm for the night.The cutting of the cake was followed by a warm and thoughtful toast proposed by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D’Souza, who spoke appreciatively of Fr. Flovi’s leadership, pastoral care and unwavering commitment. Fr. Flovi’s gracious response reflected humility, gratitude and deep appreciation for the love shown by the school family.With the formal segment complete, the celebration transitioned into its fun-filled phase with spot prizes, laughter and spontaneous cheer. A particularly meaningful moment was the presentation of 25 thoughtfully chosen gifts, lovingly organized and presented by the Supervisors, Ms. Daksha and Ms. Janet, along with the Head Teacher, Ms. Griselda, symbolizing 25 years of faithful service.The energy soared even further during the group dance performances. Adding to everyone’s delight, Fr. Flovi eagerly joined the dancers, on staff request and instantly became the dancing crowd’s favourite.The celebrations continued with engaging games, cheerful conversations and delicious snacks. The programme was further enriched by the heartfelt words of the School Head Mistress, the always articulate, Ms. Christina Mascarenhas, who spoke warmly of Fr. Flovi’s guidance, simplicity and his impact on the school community.The evening concluded with Fr. Flovi saying the grace, followed by a sumptuous dinner, free dancing and joyful camaraderie, making his Silver Jubilee a memorable occasion for all.
