On 23rd February 2026 at 2.30 p.m., a staff meeting was held in the Conference Hall in the presence of the Provincial, Rev. Fr. Ashley Miranda. The meeting began with a warm welcome by the Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi, who greeted the Provincial and the staff members. This was followed by a brief introduction of the Provincial by Rev. Fr. Godfrey. As a token of appreciation, a flower bouquet was presented to the Provincial by Fr. Orville, the school administrator.

Addressing the gathering, the Fr. Ashley expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their dedication and commitment as Salesian educators. He emphasized the importance of believing in our children and working on our own mindset and beliefs so that we may continue to mould young minds with care and conviction. He highlighted that teachers are partners with God in the nurturing of children and described the role of a teacher as that of a co-creator with God.

Father also spoke about how the seeds sown by teachers today—the values inculcated, the care shown, and the attention given—play a vital role in shaping the future of children. He shared two inspiring personal experiences where the kindness and encouragement of his teachers had a profound impact on his life and helped mould him into a better individual. He also narrated a memorable incident from his childhood where a priest explained God’s omnipresence in a simple yet powerful manner, leaving a lasting impression on him.

He concluded by reminding the staff that love for students should be expressed not merely through words but through meaningful actions. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Rev. Fr. Flovi. The Provincial’s words reminded us that teaching is not just a profession but a vocation rooted in faith, love, and responsibility.
