Skating Star of DBHS Matunga – Shivansh Purvik Shines Bright!

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Shivansh Purvik, a talented student of Don Bosco High School, Matunga, who has showcased exceptional skill and determination in roller speed skating across multiple prestigious championships.

Shivansh’s journey has been marked by consistent performance and an inspiring competitive spirit. At the Bombay Roller Skating Association Championship (18th & 19th October 2025), he secured an impressive 3rd place in the 500m race, demonstrating his strong start in the season.

He continued to shine at the 13th Open Mumbai Speed Skating Championship (1st February 2026), where he achieved 3rd place in the short race and 1st place in the long race, proving his versatility and endurance.

Adding to his accolades, Shivansh delivered an outstanding performance at the Roll-O-Fit 23rd Speed Skating Championship 2026, clinching 1st place in the 1000m race and 2nd place in the 500m race.

At the Roller Athletics National Championship (15th & 16th November 2025), he competed at the national level in the Quad Imported category, securing 5th place in both short and long races, a commendable achievement against top competitors from across the country.

His winning streak continued at the 13th Open Roller Skating Championship (1st March 2026), where he secured 1st place in the Quads Imported category, further solidifying his position as a rising star.

In the Endurance Mumbai City District Championship (7th December 2025), Shivansh displayed remarkable stamina and consistency, earning 2nd place in both the 1-minute and 20-second races under the Quads category.

Shivansh’s achievements reflect not only his dedication and discipline but also the spirit of excellence nurtured at Don Bosco High School, Matunga. His success serves as an inspiration to his peers to pursue their passions with commitment and confidence.
