Singing Competition- Std. III and IV
Don Bosco once said “Children’s music is listened to with the heart and not with the ears.”
Don Bosco Primary School, Matunga hosted an exhilarated Singing Competition on July 12th, 2025, showcasing the vocal talents of students from grades III and IV. The event was held in Fr. Joseph Casti Hall in the primary building and was filled with enthusiastic fellow students who came to support the participants. The competition aimed to encourage musical creativity and provide a platform for young singers to demonstrate their skills.
The eliminations were held on 4th July 2025. After the eliminations, eight participants from each grade were selected. The participants performed a diverse selection of songs. Each performance was met with applause and cheers, highlighting the supportive and encouraging atmosphere of the event. The judges for the competition were Mr. Lloyd Nunes, Mr. Myron Gomes, and Mr. Ruben Dsilva. They provided constructive feedback, helping the participants to hone their craft further.
The event concluded with our judges performing for us, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment and a shared love for music. The singing competition not only celebrated the students’ musical talents but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the school family but the competition wouldn’t have happened without the continuous support and courage of our Head Teacher, teachers and the hard work of our children.
