Theme: Leadership – Learning from Great Leaders
By Ms.Bindu Keny.
The students of Class XC presented their assembly on the inspiring theme “Leadership” on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, in the undercroft. The presentation, titled “Leaders Impact, Influence and Inspire,” preceded the Investiture Ceremony and appropriately highlighted the values and qualities of great leaders who have made a lasting impact on society. Rector, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D’Souza, Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi D’Souza, Administrator, Rev. Fr. Orville Coutinho, the supervisors, teachers of all sections of the school, along with the students of Grades IX and X, were present for the occasion.
The assembly began with a thought-provoking introduction on the importance of leadership in everyday life. Through a series of well-presented skits and narrations, the students brought to life significant incidents from the lives of St. John Bosco, St. Dominic Savio, Swami Vivekananda, and Abraham Lincoln.
The scene from the life of Don Bosco emphasized his love for children, compassion, and dedication to education, demonstrating how a true leader serves others with kindness and selflessness. The presentation on St. Dominic Savio highlighted his purity, discipline, and determination to lead a life of goodness, inspiring everyone to become role models through their actions.
The portrayal of Swami Vivekananda focused on the quality of empowerment. The episode from the life of Abraham Lincoln showcased his qualities of accountability and emotional maturity.
The assembly effectively brought out the essential qualities of great leaders—vision, courage, honesty, compassion, perseverance, humility, discipline, and service to others. The elaborate backdrop vividly proclaimed the theme.
The students described the experience of preparing for the event as interesting and informative, fostering teamwork.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi D’Souza, in his address to the students, encouraged the school leaders to guide their fellow students to work in harmony and strive for excellence while participating in school events.
The Rector, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D’Souza, highlighted that true leaders should be able to impact, influence, and inspire others.
