Report on Republic Day Celebrations
The Rector, Rev Fr Godfrey Dsouza, our Principal Fr Flovi Dsouza our Administrator Rev Fr Orville Cutino, ,AHM Mrs Christina Mascarenhas, our Supervisors Mrs Janet Dsouza, Ms Pauline Vallado and Mrs Daksha Tandel, Head Teacher of the Primary section Mrs Griselda Fernandes , the supervisor of the Pre-primary Mrs Rochelle Dsouza, along with our silver Jubilarians Mrs Anita Alex, Mrs Pearl Lobo and students of the institution came together to celebrate the 77th Republic Day of India on the 26th January, 2026 with great fervour and patriotism. The event was marked by a special class assembly conducted by the students of Class 8 E, themed "The Real Wealth of the Nation."
The assembly highlighted the true strength of our country, showcasing the importance of national values, opportunities available to citizens, and the freedom we enjoy today. The students paid heartfelt tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation and the brave soldiers who continue to guard our borders selflessly.
A powerful act depicting the fight between soldiers and terrorists, culminating in the victory of the soldiers, filled the audience with pride and patriotism. The assembly also featured a vibrant patriotic dance performed by the students, spreading a strong message of unity, courage, and love for the nation.
The Rector, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D'souza, enlightened the students on the significance of Republic Day, emphasizing the importance of national values and integrity. Fr. Flovi proposed the vote of thanks, concluding the event.
The assembly was a meaningful and well-coordinated presentation that successfully reminded everyone that the real wealth of a nation lies in its people, values, and heroes.
