Gokulashtami, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with immense joy and devotion at Don Bosco Primary School on 16th August. The students of Standards I to IV participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in a variety of engaging activities. Std. I students attentively watched videos showcasing the divine life of Krishna, while Std. II students looked charming as little Krishnas and expressed their creativity by designing a colorful dahi handi using thumb impressions. Std. III students artistically decorated traditional earthen pots, and Std. IV students skillfully crafted flutes and composed thoughtful slogans. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of devotion, creativity, and cultural heritage, while bringing alive the spirit of Krishna’s life in an inspiring manner.

Happy Saturday on 23rd August was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Don Bosco Primary School, Matunga. The activities for the day were based on the theme of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom and prosperity.
The students of Std. I enjoyed making statues of Lord Ganesha using clay, shaping them with devotion and creativity. Std. II students drew beautiful pictures of Lord Ganesha on A-4 size sheets and coloured them vibrantly with crayons. Std. III children showcased their talent by making Lord Ganesha using Peepal leaves and neatly sticking them on sheets to create an artistic effect. Std. IV students displayed their skill in paper folding by making Lord Ganesha through Origami.
The activities not only nurtured the children’s artistic talents but also fostered in them a spirit of devotion, imagination, and collaboration. The day concluded with great joy as students proudly showcased their creation
