Report on Annual Sports Meet (2025- 2026)

The Annual Sports Meet for the Primary Section, organized by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for all ward levels (F/N, F/S, G/N, and G/S), was successfully conducted on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at St. Paul’s Boys’ School, Parel.

The students were accompanied by their parents to the school. They assembled on the sports ground at 7:30 a.m. The Head Teacher, Mrs. Griselda Fernandes, along with Mrs. Pearl Lobo were present at the venue. The programme commenced at 8:15 a.m. with a warm welcome extended to the B.O. Officer, Mr. Irfan Shah, as well as the co-ordinators and Head Teachers from the different ward levels.

A variety of sporting events were organized to encourage participation and promote sportsmanship among the students. The events conducted were as follows:

Standard I: Running Race and Book Balancing Race

Standard II: Running Race and Potato Race

Standard III: Running Race and Marble-and-Spoon Race

Standard IV: Running Race and Sack Race

The students participated with great enthusiasm, displaying energy, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit.

The students’ efforts were rewarded with commendable achievements.

Standard I: Master Kiaan Shidwardkar secured Second Place in the Running Race

Standard II: Master Chadwick Fernandes received a Consolation Prize in the Running Race

Standard IV: Master Aadil Shah won Third Place in the Running Race

All participants were appreciated for their active involvement and were awarded participation certificates. The Sports Meet proved to be an enjoyable and memorable experience, fostering teamwork, confidence, discipline, and physical fitness among the students. Overall, it was a fun-filled and enriching day for everyone involved.
