Nurturing Future Leaders: Insights from the Retreat

On 24th July 2025, a retreat was conducted for the Morals students of Std 5 and 6, focusing on moral values. The esteemed guest speaker, Mala Didi, is one of the senior Raj Yoga Teacher from Brahma kumaris, a worldwide socio spiritual organisation. She has surrendered her life for more than 50 years to teach Meditation for a better living. She was accompanied by Didi Supriya Thakar and Didi Lata. The session began with a heartfelt prayer led by Supervisor Ms. Daksha Tandel, followed by a brief introduction of the guest speaker by Ms. Shikha Yadav.
Mala Didi emphasized the importance of setting life goals and staying focused. She advised students to strive for excellence while being good in their pursuits, highlighting that the value you contribute will be returned to you. Practical suggestions included note-taking and concentration: Jotting down daily lessons to enhance focus and emphasizing attentive learning in class. These practices, combined with meditation exercises, aimed to help students achieve their goals and lead peaceful lives. She also emphasized that knowing these values is not just enough; implementing them in life is crucial.
Didi Supriya Thakar elaborated on essential values such as peace, love, joy, purity, power, wisdom, and truth, highlighting the significance of inner strength in serving the world.
The retreat concluded with a deeper understanding of these values and their practical application. The program was a truly enriching and transformative experience for all, empowering students with valuable insights, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of themselves, their goals, and the strategies to achieve them.
