Class 9B presented their class assembly on August 19 on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day with the theme "Humanity Survives When Someone Chooses to Help." The assembly aimed to inspire students to practise kindness, empathy, and compassion in their everyday lives.

The programme began with a peaceful meditation led by the class teacher which helped everyone reflect on the importance of kindness and gratitude. This was followed by the thought for the day and a brief introduction explaining the significance of World Humanitarian Day.

Students presented short acts based on everyday school life, showing how simple gestures can make a big difference. The performances depicted helping a bullied student, assisting an elderly man, supporting classmates with studies and lending a helping hand whenever someone is in need. These acts encouraged students to realise that humanitarian values begin with small acts of kindness within the school community.

A graceful dance performance conveyed the message that kindness, love, and compassion should be spread everywhere. The performance beautifully illustrated that every act of kindness has the power to bring hope and happiness to others.

The audience was left with a thought-provoking message: "What if God wants you to be the one to help?" This powerful question inspired everyone to become more caring, responsible, and willing to help those around them. The assembly was meaningful, inspiring, and left the audience with the understanding that humanity survives when each one of us chooses to help.
