Honouring young achievers at the Times NIE Student of the Year event
The prestigious award ceremony held on 7th August 2025 at Ravindra Natya Mandir was a grand collaborative event organized by Times NIE in association with Vidyalankar Institute. The celebration aimed to honor the outstanding academic achievements of top-performing students from reputed schools across the city.
Don Bosco High School was proudly represented by Master Pratham Kapoor, the 1st rank holder, and Master Sai Gole, the 2nd rank holder, whose remarkable accomplishments brought immense pride to their institution. Master Pratham Kapoor was felicitated with a distinguished achievement trophy, a certificate of excellence, and a scholarship offering an impressive 75% concession on tuition fees at Vidyalankar Institute for his 11th and 12th grades. Master Sai Gole, as the 2nd rank holder, was awarded a certificate of achievement along with a 70% scholarship for his higher secondary education. Certificates for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th rankers are being sent to the school via courier, ensuring due recognition for all achievers.
Adding to the glory of the event, the audience was addressed by two eminent personalities—Mr. Hitesh Moghe, an accomplished IITian, and Mr. Umed Yadav, a highly experienced Chief Engineer in the nuclear power sector. Their motivational words inspired students to chase their dreams with dedication and resilience. The occasion, celebrated as the Student of the Year event, thus became not only a platform to reward academic brilliance but also a memorable source of inspiration for the achievers.
