The farewell ceremony for Std X students held on 12 January 2026 was a heartfelt and memorable event, beautifully capturing the emotions of gratitude, reflection, and hope. The backdrop words, “Grateful for the journey, hopeful for the future…”, perfectly reflected the spirit of the occasion as the school bid a warm farewell to its outgoing students.
The programme commenced with a meaningful prayer service, creating a serene and reflective atmosphere. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolising wisdom, faith, and the light that will continue to guide the students on their future paths. The prayer service reminded everyone of the importance of values, gratitude, and trust in God as the students move forward in life.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the blessing of the students, where prayers and good wishes were invoked for their success, strength, and courage. This solemn moment touched hearts and reinforced the bond between the school and its students.
The occasion was further enriched by words of wisdom from the Principal Rev. Fr.Flovi D'Souza, Rector Rev. Fr.Godfrey D'Souza, and the Administrator, Rev. Fr. Orville Coutinho. Their messages encouraged the students to remain grounded in values, pursue excellence with humility, and carry forward the spirit of the institution wherever they go. Their guidance served as a source of inspiration and reassurance for the students at this important milestone.
The mood then shifted to joy and celebration with a series of engaging games, which brought laughter and enthusiasm, allowing students to relax and cherish their final moments together.
Adding a soulful touch to the event was a singing session by Sir Amar. His melodious performance filled the hall with warmth and nostalgia, leaving a lasting impression on the audience and making the farewell even more memorable.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the School Captain, Kanishk Uppal. He expressed sincere gratitude to the management, principal, teachers, staff, and students for their guidance, support, and love throughout the years. His words beautifully summed up the emotions of the day.
The farewell ceremony was a perfect blend of reflection, celebration, and inspiration. As the students took leave, they carried with them cherished memories, strong values, and hopeful dreams—truly grateful for the journey and hopeful for the future.
