Field Trip to BMC Garden, Naigaon
“A field trip is not just a journey beyond the classroom, but a window to the world where children learn through real experiences.”
On 20th September 2025, the Junior KG students of Savio Kindergarten went for an exciting field trip to the BMC Garden, Naigaon. Before setting out, the little ones folded their hands and whispered a short prayer, asking for God’s blessings for a safe and joyful trip. With cheerful smiles and great enthusiasm, the children boarded the bus and began their memorable journey.
The trip itself was a wonderful learning experience. As the bus moved through the streets, the children curiously looked out of the windows, observing the busy world outside their classrooms. They spotted tall buildings, fruit vendors arranging colorful fruits, vegetable vendors selling fresh produce, and bustling marketplaces filled with activity. Their eyes lit up as they watched different vehicles on the road—cars, buses, trucks, rickshaws, and even bicycles. Each sight brought excitement and chatter, making the ride itself a fun-filled adventure.
Upon reaching BMC Garden, the children were delighted to see the greenery, tall trees, and different plants. The fresh air and the beauty of nature created a sense of joy and wonder in their young hearts. Together, they explored the surroundings, played happily, and enjoyed the time spent with their friends and teachers.
The visit was also in keeping with the syllabus topic on Plant Life. The garden had various types of plants, shrubs, and trees, which the teachers pointed out to the children. This gave them a chance to observe plant life closely and understand the importance of plants in our daily lives.
The trip not only provided the students with relaxation and fun but also gave them real-life experiences beyond books, helping them to connect what they learn in class to the world around them. The children also learned an important value—that just as plants need care, water, and sunlight to grow, we too must nurture good habits, kindness, and respect in order to grow beautifully as human beings.
