The day began with the students assembling in their classrooms, where attendance was taken and important instructions were shared. With cheerful excitement, the students boarded the buses, ready for a day of learning beyond the classroom. The journey itself was an experience, taking the students through Sion, the Bandra–Worli Sea Link, and the newly developed Coastal Road. As they travelled, the students observed how modern infrastructure helps reduce travel time and connects different parts of Mumbai more efficiently. The first stop was Nature’s Trail at Malabar Hill, where the students were welcomed by lush greenery and the calmness of nature. A delightful moment of the visit was spotting a majestic peacock, which fascinated the students and highlighted the rich biodiversity found within the city. The group then proceeded to Kamla Nehru Park, where the children eagerly explored the famous Old Woman’s Shoe. They enjoyed spending time playing and observing the breathtaking view of Mumbai’s skyline, including the expansive coast and newly developed roads visible from the garden’s viewing points. To strengthen their learning, students were given a worksheet based on the places visited. They enthusiastically answered the questions, shared their observations, and reflected on their experience. The field trip was a memorable blend of fun, learning, and discovery. After a fulfilling day outdoors, the students boarded the buses and returned to school safely, carrying with them new knowledge, joyful memories, and a deeper appreciation for nature and their city.
