Empathy in Every Action- 8C Assembly
Empathy in Every Action.Mr Shailendra MishraClass 8C conducted a meaningful and reflective assembly on the theme “Empowering Lives Through Empathy.” As 10th December marks Human Rights Day, the programme beautifully aligned with the significance of the occasion. The assembly opened with a calming guided meditation, inviting students to close their eyes, breathe deeply, and feel gratitude for the blessings of education, safety, and the opportunities God has placed in their lives. This was followed by a thought-provoking skit depicting the contrast between Rohan, a privileged child who takes his comforts for granted, and Aman, an underprivileged boy who works tirelessly while still dreaming of an education. Through powerful performances, the students highlighted the stark reality of child labour and the importance of compassion towards those who struggle. The assembly concluded with an inspiring message from the Principal, who shared the story of a young orphan once forced to work in a stone quarry. He reminded students of the value of their blessings and quoted the Bible: “To whom more is given, much more is expected.” His words encouraged them to be grateful, responsible, and sensitive to the needs of others.Overall, the assembly presented by Class 8C was impactful and heartfelt, successfully motivating students to appreciate their privileges and to uplift others with empathy.
