Students of Don Bosco High School, Matunga brought pride to the institution by qualifying for the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and representing Maharashtra State at the 69th National School Games – Hockey (Under-14 Boys) held at Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, from 22nd to 27th December 2026.

The Maharashtra team delivered commendable performances during the league matches:

-Maharashtra vs Dadra & Nagar  Haveli – 8–0

-Maharashtra vs Haryana – 0–5

-Maharashtra vs Telangana – 5–3

With consistent effort and determination, the team progressed to the Quarter Finals, where they played against Odisha in a closely contested match:

Quarter Final: Maharashtra vs Odisha – 1–2

Reaching the Quarter Finals at the National level is a noteworthy achievement and reflects the dedication, discipline, and sporting excellence of our students.
