Don Bosco High School, Matunga Finish as MSSA World Cup 2026 Runners-up.

The Under-14 Football Team of Don Bosco High School, Matunga displayed remarkable determination and fighting spirit in the Final of the MSSA World Cup 2026 held on 15th July 2026 at MSSA Football Ground, Azad Maidan.

Facing a strong Bombay Scottish School, Mahim, the Boscoites produced an outstanding performance in a closely contested encounter.

 The match ended in a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time, with both teams showcasing excellent skill, teamwork, and resilience.

The winner was decided through a penalty shootout, where Bombay Scottish edged past Don Bosco 4-3, securing the championship.

Though the result did not go in their favour,  Don Bosco boys can hold their heads high after an exceptional campaign. Their grit, discipline, and never-give-up attitude throughout the tournament earned them a well-deserved Runners-up finish.

The school congratulates Coach Luke and the entire team for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the tournament. Their exceptional performance reflects the values of discipline, teamwork, and sporting excellence that Don Bosco High School proudly upholds.
