Diwali Party- Pre Primary section.
“Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time for joy, love, and celebration. It’s a time to come together with family and friends, and fill our lives with happiness and prosperity.”
On 16th October 2025, our Nursery and Pre-Primary section celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and fervour! The classrooms turned into a dazzling spectacle, decorated with lanterns, diyas, lights, and colourful rangoli that brought festive cheer all around. The little ones, dressed in traditional Diwali attire ranging from elegant kurtas and pyjamas to charming sherwanis, looked absolutely delightful as they exchanged sweets with their friends, spreading smiles, love, and warmth.
The celebration was not just about the beauty of lights, but also about learning the deeper meaning of this festival. Our teachers narrated the story of Diwali on the smartboard, and the children listened with wide-eyed curiosity to the tale of how good triumphs over evil, and light dispels darkness.
To instill values of kindness and sharing, we encouraged our children to donate good-quality clothes to the less fortunate, reminding them that Diwali is also about spreading happiness beyond our homes. We also shared how Hindus traditionally exchange gifts and extend generosity to the needy during this season of giving.
As diyas were lit and sparklers sparkled, the essence of Diwali shone brightly—victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. We emphasized the importance of celebrating a safe and eco-friendly Diwali by avoiding firecrackers that cause air pollution and noise pollution. The nursery children took home colourful diyas as takeaways. The KG section children received a chocolate on account of Diwali.
The day ended with children joyfully wishing each other “Happy Diwali,” their laughter filling the air and their hearts glowing with festive spirit. Watching our little ones embrace the true essence of Diwali was indeed magical. They carried home not just sweets and memories, but also the message of love, kindness, and light to share with their families and communities.
May this Diwali illuminate our lives with joy, peace, and prosperity. And may our children continue to shine as little beacons of light, spreading happiness and goodness wherever they go.
