Diwali Celebration

Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights, Diwali, was joyfully celebrated in the Primary Section on 15th October 2025. The classrooms were filled with festive excitement as teachers prepared an engaging PowerPoint presentation and videos to help children understand the significance of Diwali — the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Through these visuals, the students learnt about the tradition of lighting diyas, and the importance of spreading happiness and kindness during the festival.
To make the celebration more meaningful, the children enthusiastically solved colourful worksheets based on the theme of Diwali. The activities encouraged them to recall what they had learnt while enjoying a fun and creative experience. Dressed in vibrant coloured clothes, the little ones added charm and liveliness to the day. They also brought along snacks to share with their classmates, spreading the true spirit of togetherness and joy.
The celebration beautifully reflected the message of Diwali — to share love, light, and laughter with everyone around us. As the saying goes, “Light a lamp of love, blast a chain of sorrow, shoot a rocket of prosperity, and fire a flowerpot of happiness this Diwali.” The day ended with cheerful smiles and hearts glowing with festive spirit. The boys of grade four shared their views about the celebration
Aarav Datta “I loved watching the Diwali PPT. It was very informative. I learned why we light diyas and that good always wins. My favourite part was colouring the Diwali worksheet with bright crayons!”
Sparsh Chavan “I wore my favourite out-fit and shared my sweets with my friends. We all laughed and had so much fun together!”
Vivaan Panchal “The classroom looked so beautiful with decorations! I enjoyed learning about Lord Rama and how Diwali started. I also liked solving the Diwali puzzles!”
Shaurya Kadam “We all watched a PPT about Diwali and then made Diwali cards for our friends. It was so much fun! I wish every day was like this.”
The Diwali celebration left the children with joyful memories and a deeper understanding of the festival’s true spirit. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and the warmth of togetherness. May this Diwali fill into our lives new hopes for the future and new dreams for tomorrow. With lots of love, wishing you all a very Happy Diwali.
