BOSCO KALA UTSAV - A Rainbow of Events

The Bosco Kala Utsav commenced on 22nd October, showcasing a vibrant spectrum of talent both on and off stage.

Observed as a No Bag Day, the occasion gave prime importance to stage events, providing a platform for students to display their diverse abilities.

Students eloquently expressed themselves in three languages through the Elocution competition and demonstrated critical thinking in the Debate competition, articulating both for and against the motion with conviction.

Awareness of contemporary issues was fostered through the Fancy Dress competition, themed around Land, Ocean, Superhero for a better world and futuristic world.

Acting is not everyone's cup of tea; however, our students confidently took to the stage and showcased commendable acting skills in the Hindi and Marathi Mono-Acting events. A new addition this year was the Stand-Up Comedy event for the students of the higher grades.

Under the theme 'Folklore', the Group Folk Song competition showcased the rich regional heritage of India, as the Houses presented melodious folk songs from Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Under the guidance of their teachers, the students of Std. 5 and 6 witnessed a Social Science Exhibition, featuring informative 3D models meticulously prepared by their peers.

A little thought on the spot put their intellect to test as students participated house-wise in the English, Mathematics and Science Quiz. Another engaging event with words was the Spell Bee competition conducted for the students.

It was fun with colours and creativity as ideas came alive across the campus, with students painting rocks and umbrellas, and creating vibrant collages and charts for the display boards.

The day concluded on a melodious note with a wide variety of songs as students were shortlisted for the Vocal and Instrumental Music competitions.

Alongside the on-stage events, technology played a significant role through off-stage events such as Photography, Reel Making, Ad Jingle and Documentary Making, where students collaborated to showcase their technical proficiency, reaffirming that technology is an integral part of modern life.
