Blue Day Celebration – Nursery Section:26th August 2025

“Blue is the colour of the sky so high,

Of oceans deep and birds that fly.

It brings us peace, it makes us smile,

A colour we’ll cherish all the while.” 💙

The Nursery section of Don Bosco High School, Matunga, was filled with shades of cool and calm as the little boys celebrated Blue Day with great joy and enthusiasm.

The boys looked adorable and unique as they came dressed in the T-shirts they had personally hand-printed, making the day even more meaningful. Each T-shirt was a one-of-a-kind creation, designed with little blue handprints and patterns that reflected their innocence and imagination. The parents were emotionally thrilled to witness this heartfelt activity, as it captured the innocence, joy, and creativity of their little ones. Their bright smiles and proud eyes reflected the excitement of creating something unique with their own hands. Wearing their own artwork gave the children a sense of pride and joy, turning them into walking displays of creativity and confidence.

The classroom, decorated with blue objects, streamers, and balloons, sparkled even more with the charm of these self-made masterpieces.

Adding to the fun, the boys participated in a lively show-and-tell activity, confidently bringing along various blue objects from home and sharing a few lines about them. This not only enhanced their speaking skills but also boosted their confidence.

As a sweet memory of the day, the boys were gifted blue colour pinwheels as takeaways, which they joyfully twirled around, adding a playful charm to the celebration.

The colour blue, often linked with peace, trust, and imagination, inspired the boys to express themselves freely while embracing creativity and calmness.

The day not only helped children identify and appreciate the colour blue but also encouraged creativity, self-expression, and joy in learning.

Indeed, Blue Day was a splash of fun, creativity, and happy memories that will stay with the children for a long time.

“Blue skies, blue seas, and blue smiles — that’s what our day was all about!”
