“Not every voice deserves your attention; choose the one that guides you wisely.”

-          Mrs. Vandana Thouti

Class 6D presented a meaningful assembly on 19th  August, 2026 in Fr. Bernard Hall on the theme “Beyond the Noise: Choosing the Right Voice.” The programme began with a warm welcome followed by a peaceful meditation, helping everyone prepare to reflect on the importance of making wise and responsible choices.

Through an engaging skit, the students portrayed the many distractions and pressures young people face today, such as social media, gaming, peer pressure and the temptation to take shortcuts. The character ‘Aryan’ gradually understood that the loudest or most popular voice is not always the right one. The assembly was further enriched by a lively dance and song performance by the students. Their energetic presentation beautifully conveyed the theme.

The message of Don Bosco in the skit further emphasized the importance of listening to one’s conscience, parents, teachers and God. Students were encouraged to choose honesty, kindness, courage and truth, even when doing the right thing may be difficult. Rev. Fr. Godfrey D’Souza, our Rector, reinforced the theme by urging students to think carefully before acting, use technology wisely and avoid blindly following the crowd. He shared two real life instances with the students to emphasise more on the theme. He also reminded them to value prayer, family, studies and good guidance. The assembly was thoughtful, inspiring and relevant to students’ daily lives.
