Aptitude Test at Don Bosco High School, Matunga

To support students in making informed career choices, Don Bosco High School, Matunga organized a structured aptitude assessment programme for Std 10 students in collaboration with Young Buzz, an organization specializing in online aptitude testing and career guidance.

The online test helped in understanding the student's interest, aptitude and personality. Mrs.Divya Immanuel, school counsellor along with Ms.Naziya Khan from Young Buzz facilitated the entire assessment process in a systematic and student-friendly manner.

A total of 213 students participated in this career assessment programme. The initiative was carried out in multiple phases. It began with a parent orientation session, where parents were introduced to the concept of aptitude testing, its relevance in career planning, and the overall structure of the programme. This was followed by an online aptitude test, conducted in the month of December 2025, which assessed students across various skill sets and aptitude areas.

In the final phase, individual counselling sessions were held in January 2026. During these sessions, students and parents interacted with trained counsellors to discuss the test results in detail. They were encouraged to express their interests, ask questions, and clarify doubts regarding subject selection and future career options. The sessions provided valuable insights and helped students gain clarity and confidence about their way forward.

The aptitude test programme proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience for both students and parents. It enabled informed decision-making and reinforced the school’s commitment to guiding students towards a confident and well-planned future.
