Birthdays are moments when hearts come together in gratitude and affection — a time to celebrate the people who guide, inspire, and nurture us. The 7th and 8th of November 2025 were such memorable days at our school, as students and staff joined in a joyous celebration to honour our beloved Rector, Fr. Godfrey D’Souza. The air was filled with laughter, music, and the warmth of shared appreciation for a man whose presence lights up our institution.

A Celebration with Students — 7th November 2025
The Student Council led a touching felicitation program that began with a warm welcome to Father. The celebration radiated joy as Fr. Godfrey was greeted by representatives from the Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary sections, each offering bouquets of flowers and heartfelt smiles. The event was crowned by the cutting of the birthday cake, symbolizing unity, joy, and the collective gratitude of the school community.

Fr. Orville then shared words of deep appreciation, thanking Fr. Godfrey for his steadfast guidance, selfless service, and gentle leadership that continually inspire both students and staff. The celebration concluded with Fr. Godfrey’s heartfelt address, in which he expressed his sincere thanks to all for their love and thoughtful gestures that made his day so special.
A Celebration with Staff — 8th November 2025

The following afternoon, the school bloomed once again with cheer and colour as the staff gathered to continue the celebration — a day wrapped in smiles, music, and heartfelt affection. A warm welcome was extended to Fr. Godfrey, accompanied by Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas and Fr. Orville Coutinho, setting a tone of joy and togetherness.

The Pre-Primary section began by sharing the meaning of Fr. Godfrey’s name — a touching reflection of the grace and goodness he embodies. The Secondary section added sparkle to the celebration with a lively game based on Father’s likes and dislikes, filling the room with laughter. The moment of sweetness arrived with the cutting of the birthday cake, greeted by applause and cheer from all present.
The celebration then took on a musical note as teachers participated in a karaoke session, singing and dancing with infectious enthusiasm. The Fathers themselves joined in the merriment, turning the morning into a joyful symphony of togetherness and delight.
Fr. Orville once again spoke warmly about Fr. Godfrey’s inspiring personality and the wonderful celebration held the previous day with the students. The Primary teachers added a tender touch to the festivities with a heartfelt birthday song dedicated to Father — a melody of love and gratitude.

In his address to the staff, Fr. Godfrey shared his joy and appreciation, expressing his heartfelt thanks for the affection shown to him. His words, filled with warmth and encouragement, deeply touched everyone present.
The two-day celebration beautifully reflected the deep respect, admiration, and love that the entire school community holds for Fr. Godfrey D’Souza — a Rector whose guidance nurtures minds, uplifts spirits, and touches hearts.
