The Don Bosco High School, Matunga U-16 Football Team delivered a spectacular performance at the Ahmed Sailor Cup, securing a commanding 3–0 victory over St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra, at Wings Sports Academy, on 11 September 2026.

The match belonged to our young footballers, who displayed determination, discipline, confidence and exceptional team spirit from the very first whistle. Leading the charge was our Star Player, Harshal Devle, who produced a sensational performance by scoring all three goals to complete a brilliant hat-trick and guide Don Bosco to a memorable 3–0 victory.

Harshal’s clinical finishing and determination lit up the match as he found the back of the net three times. His hat-trick was undoubtedly the highlight of the game and a moment to remember for the young footballer.

However, behind every hat-trick lies a team.

The three goals may have come from Harshal, but the victory was truly a collective achievement. Every pass, tackle, interception, save and movement on the field played its part. The team's coordination, discipline and unwavering support for one another demonstrated the true meaning of teamwork and sportsmanship.

This outstanding victory is also a reflection of the dedication and guidance of our Coach, Mr. Leslie Machado, whose commitment, tactical expertise and constant motivation continue to inspire our young footballers to push their limits and strive for excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi Dsouza and Rev. Fr. Roy Noronha for their constant encouragement, support and belief in our students. Their unwavering encouragement gives our young athletes the confidence to dream bigger, work harder and perform with pride.
