80th Independence Day Celebration

“Our diversity is our identity, our unity is our strength.”

- Mrs. Jui Dadarkar

On 15th August 2026, Don Bosco High School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great pride and patriotism. The programme began with the flag hoisting by the Chief Guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gole, proud parents of our SSC topper, Master Sai Gole, followed by the parade of the RSP, NCC and Scouts contingents.

The programme, themed “New India – Dare to Dream, Dare to Do,” was dedicated to the brave soldiers of our nation, highlighting the message that “Peace is not free.” Students presented patriotic live singing, dance performances and a powerful skit depicting the Kargil War, paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces.

The programme was meticulously planned and executed by PT Teachers Mrs. Jui, Mr. Melwin and Mr. Nehal. Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi D’Souza appreciated their efforts, while the Rector Rev. Fr. Godfrey D’Souza addressed the gathering with an inspiring message.

The celebration also included the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the meritorious SSC students of the batch 2025–2026. The Chief Guest, Mr. Gole, expressed his gratitude to the school and management for supporting his son’s growth and success.

The programme concluded on a proud and patriotic note, reminding everyone of the sacrifices that earned us our freedom.

Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
