Strive For Nothing

What's there to strive for, my friend?

What's there to lose?

All the chips are down, and

there is nothing to choose.

You gave up heaven for

what? Just a feel of bourbon?

Everything's a façade, no one

who you can trust.

Haven't you seen the injustice?

Isn't that enough?

Slaughtered, killed, punished,

but the massacres go on

like the windmill.

The innocent are behind bars,

while the rich are

planning to go to Mars.

I ask again, there is nothing

to win. What do you

even strive for within?

The path that no one walks,

you think you can take it.

If yes, I have one tip:

"Fake it till you make it."

The World Beyond The Silver Moon

Beyond the moon, where the stars are bright,

There lies a world without a night.

The rivers sparkle,the mountains glow,

And crystal flowers gently grow.

The clouds are castles floating high,

With golden birds that fill the sky.

A silver forest whispers low,

While tiny fairies dance below.

A dragon guards the Emerald Sea,

And speaks in riddles only to me.

The trees can walk, the stones can sing,

And every morning brings a new thing.

I found a bridge of rainbow light,

That led me through the misty night.

I crossed it slowly, full of wonder,

While the purple lightning rolled like thunder.

Then came a valley made of dreams,

Where stars flowed down in shining streams,

I wished to stay in that magic land,

But morning pulled me by the hand.

I woke beneath the morning sun,

And knew my journey had just begun.

For sometimes worlds we cannot see,

Are hidden in our imagination, free.

A World Without Misery

Humans and Nature are to live in a world without crime,

nothing stolen ,not even a dime.

The stunted Lilies should flourish once more,

when the lost necklace comes ashore.

Men and Women treated as one ,

that is when, out comes the sun.

A world without misery and drought ,

In our lives, all throughout .

Development deserves credit too ,

criticism should come in corruption that's new.

Treated with kindness should feel a beggar in trouble ,

become a supporter and not a bursting bubble.

"Isn't it a wonderful day?"

We hear the hawker say, the one who walks in the treacherous sun ,

All through the day.

Nor cutting wood , Neither starving without food ,

We should teach this world to be all good.

A Monitor's POV : The true meaning of Raksha

On 28th August 2026, we celebrate Rakshabandhan. In this word, “Raksha” means protection. On this day, a brother promises his sister to protect her in any problem. Similarly, we monitors and council members have taken a pledge to protect the students in the school.

On 25th August, as I was carrying out my duties as a monitor, I observed an incident in which a student was being bullied. The bullies were making insulting and hurtful remarks about the victim’s parents, using their names disrespectfully. Later, the victim reacted in an inappropriate way towards the students involved. Although the reaction was wrong, I felt it was unfair to blame only the victim without considering what had happened before. The bullying that caused the situation should also have been addressed.

I believe both sides should be handled fairly. Students should be taught that bullying and insulting others are unacceptable, while victims should be encouraged to report such behaviour instead of reacting angrily.

The Student Council can help by spreading awareness about bullying and encouraging students to respect one another. Also, the council members should not forgive anyone as he is their friend and ensure that everyone feels safe and supported at school.

Jokes

Student: Sir, can I be punished for something I didn’t do?

Teacher : Of course not.

Student : Great ! Because I didn’t do my homework.

Mom : How was your exam?

Student : Amazing!

Mom : Really ?

Student : Yes. The questions and I spent the whole time staring at each other.

Teacher : What is the longest word in English?

Student : The word “smiles”

Teacher : Why?

Student : Because there’s a mile between the first and last letter !

Teacher : You copied your friend’s answer !

Student : No, ma’am.

Teacher : Then why are both answers exactly the same ?

Student : Because Great minds think alike.

A Short Funny Story

The Great Homework Mystery

One Monday morning, our teacher walked into the class and said, “Everyone, take out your homework.” The class suddenly became quiet. Not a normal quiet. But an EMERGENCY quiet.

One student immediately started searching his bag. Another checked his notebook.A third student looked under his desk, as if the homework might have escaped during the weekend.

The teacher asked, “ Where is your homework?” One boy confidently replied, “ Ma’am, I did it!” “ Good. Show me.” He froze. Then he said, “ Actually … I did it mentally.” The teacher stared at him. “ So where is it?” He replied, “In my mind.” The teacher sighed.” And why didn’t you write it?” He thought for a moment and said, “ Ma’am … I didn’t want to waste paper.” The entire class burst out laughing. The teacher shook her head and said, “ Fine. Tomorrow, bring your homework.” The boy nodded seriously. “ Of course, Ma’am.”

The next day, he came to school without it. The teacher asked, “ Where’s your homework?” He smiled and said, “Ma’am … I decided to save it for the environment.” And that was the last time anyone saw his homework. Because apparently, it had become an endangered species.

Sugary Sweet Serendane

My love, you're the sunshine in my sky,

Without you, life would simply pass me by.

You're the cream in my coffee, the sugar in my tea,

Without you, baby, life wouldn't be complete for me.

You're the pizza to my pie, the Merlot to my wine,

With you by my side, everything feels just fine.

You're the rhythm to my beat, the melody to my heart,

Forever with you is where I want to start.

You're a work of art, a masterpiece so fine,

A precious treasure, forever you'll be mine.

You're the missing piece that makes my puzzle complete,

With you, my love, my heart skips a beat.

I love you more than words could ever say,

You're the love of my life, in every single way.

You're my forever, my always, my one true desire,

Forever and always, you'll set my heart on fire.

Love Beyond Skies

In the celestial realm, the Sun and Moon

Lived in different skies, yet their hearts

Yearned for each other. The Sun, with

Rays of gold, longed to bask in

The Moon’s gentle glow. The Moon,

With phases so divine, yearned to shine

Alongside the Sun’s radiance.

Moved by their love, the gods granted

Eclipse—a rare moment where Sun and

Moon could unite, their love shining

Brighter than any star. During

These celestial encounters, the

World below would pause, witnessing

The magic of their love.
