The school science research team awarded at the 27th National Children’s Science Congress
Master Atharva Gajakosh (Std 8) the team leader of the (school) project Phytoremediation Potential of E.crassipes from Maharashtra was selected for the 27th National Children’s Science Congress which was held from 27th to 31st December in Trivandrum, Kerala. Around 658 child scientists from all parts of India and the Indian people from Middle East countries participated in this event. The focal theme at this congress was ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for a Clean, Green and Healthy Nation.’ The team leader Atharva (the team comprised Geoffrey Nadar, Atharva Gajakosh, Hrishikesh Nayak, Paursuh Kerawala and Jaiden Salvi) presented the finding of their study carried out by them at this congress.The inauguration of the 27th NCSC was led by MP Mr Shashi Tharoor and Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister of Kerala. The participants were honoured with medals and certificates.
