It was time yet again for some engaging activity for the students of the Primary section. This time around, the students of Std 2 celebrated Water day on 10th August 2016.
This day was celebrated to give a key message on daily attitude and practices that contribute to conserving water. Classrooms and bulletin boards were decorated with captions and messages on conservation of water. Students were made aware of the importance and techniques of saving water through simple activities, role plays, songs and preparation of posters. The students outlined the water cycle and wrote on ways of conserving water on the cut-out given to them. Later, they helped in the preparation of a soft drink too! It was fun-filled learning experience for the children.
