It has been a rewarding season for our sportspersons this time around.  A few of them have scaled great heights and have earned laurels at the city, state and National level. We congratulate them for their tremendous commitment to sport, training and discipline. Mention must be made also of their coaches and parents who leave no stone unturned to ensure that their children receive the best.


Our swimming sensation Master Rudransh Mishra of Std. X is winning medals by the dozen! He won  2 gold medals in the Boys/U-16  100 mts free style and Boys/U-16 200 mts individual medley besides a silver medal in the Boys/U-16 100 mts Butterfly at the MSSA organized 53rd Annual inter-school Aquatic championship 2016-17 held at Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Elphistone Road on 3rd & 4th Dec 2016. He created a new meet record in 100 m free style clocking 00.57.75 (NMR) eclipsing the earlier record in 2005.


Master Sankalp Panda (XF) was shortlisted by the NBA ACADEMY (International Basketball Organisation) at a competition in which 24 boys were selected all over India. NBA is providing the shortlisted students with a fully sponsored 5 year education in America. The event was organised by Mumbai School Sports Association.


Master Saket More (X B) won the gold medal at the MSSA inter-school boxing tournament held at Dharavi Sports complex. Saket beat Mr. Sayash Bagad of GSM school – Colaba.

Master Branden Britto of Std VIII E won gold in his category at the same tournament beating Michael Anzari of St. Xavier’s in the finals.


Master Shivam Kadam of Std 7-D won the silver medal at the MSSA inter-school lawn-Tennis championship held at Bombay Gymkhana. In the team championship event our school team comprising Nihar Sandha, Hrimay Shah, Harshveer Singh, Jensen Pias, Shivam Kadam and Ayush Hindlekar bagged the bronze medal.
