Reliving the Christmas message at the Primary Christmas Symposium
-Mrs. Colleen Azavedo

‘Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love’ – Ruth Carter Stapleton.
On 21 December 2018, the students of Don Bosco Primary School gathered in the Bianchi Hall for the Christmas Symposium; the theme for this celebration was on ‘GIVING’. The message-we need to change from ‘WHAT WILL I GET, TO WHAT WILL I GIVE’. To put ourselves in the Christmas mood, before the main symposium program, the entire primary section sang a few carols. There was joy and merriment all around. The program began with a welcome speech. The tiny tots enacted the nativity, depicting the true essence of love, joy and peace. This was accompanied by singing of carols by the choir of angels. The students also enjoyed the songs and dances that were really rocking and in keeping with the theme. The symposium provided an added opportunity for the students to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
