Class 7E Assembly – Faith in Action: Listening, Loving and Serving

“Faith is made visible through our actions—by listening with wisdom, loving with compassion, and serving with humility.”

-Ms. Raveena D'Souza

The students of Class 7E, under the guidance of their Class Teacher, Ms. Raveena D'Souza, conducted a meaningful assembly on the theme 'Faith in Action: Listening, Loving and Serving.' The assembly was attended by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D'Souza, Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi D'Souza, Supervisor, teachers, staff, and the students of Classes V and VII.

The assembly began with a reflective meditation by their class teacher. The students then presented a thought-provoking skit that highlighted the importance of making the right choices by listening to good values. This was followed by an energetic dance performance that beautifully conveyed the message of hope, unity, compassion and selfless service.

In his inspiring address, Rev. Fr. Godfrey D'Souza explained the theme through the life of St. Don Bosco, who dedicated his life to listening, loving and guiding young minds. He also cited the example of Mahatma Gandhi, whose life reflected truth, love and selfless service to humanity. He encouraged the students to become good listeners, love and respect one another, and always be willing to serve others with kindness and humility.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the comperes, expressing gratitude to the audience. The assembly by the Class 7E left the audience inspired to put their faith into action by listening with wisdom, loving with compassion and serving others in their daily lives.
