Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ observed on December 25. It is a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world. Christmas is the time to Love, Care ‘N’ Share. Keeping this in mind, the boys of the Primary section observed Christmas week from 14th to 19th December. Children were told the true meaning of Christmas during the week. Also, the classrooms and corridors were beautifully decorated to present a festive look. Christmas carols, activity worksheets and the Symposium created an amazing atmosphere and ushered in the spirit of Christmas.
16th of December was a fun – filled day where the boys of Std I were told the classic, interesting story about St. Nicholas- Santa. They were brought into the Christmas mood by the activity- making of a Santa cap in the classroom.
The entire Primary section together with the Kg students enjoyed the Christmas Symposium presented by the children of Std IV with well prepared songs, dances, skit and the story of the birth of Jesus in the manger. The Christmas party, the playing of games and meeting with Santa Claus added to the celebration. All the children were at the games stalls on 19th morning to have their share of fun at the Christmas Panorama and add their bit to the Care ‘N’ Share program.
