The Education Department of Mumbai-Navnirman Vidnyan Prasodhan organized the NCSC workshop for the year 2019-20 for participating students and their parents. It was held on Sunday, 30th June, 2019 at Vivekanand English High School, Kurla. The purpose of this workshop was to give students guidelines to prepare an effective research project and present the entire plan for the year.
In an introductory talk, the President said the science research helps a student in his all round development. There are 100 ways of doing things and even if one of them fails, there are still 99 more ways to try. We must continue to research and find new methods and innovations. Mr. Jadhav said that by engaging in research work a child is doing mini PhD.
The students of Don Bosco Matunga were asked to present their winning project. The aim was to give people an idea of how a national level project needs to be presented. Master Kyle Rozario of Std 8 presented the project before the audience and it was appreciated by all.
Mrs. Seetalaxmi then gave the theme of the year-Science Technology and Innovation for a clean, green and healthy environment.
The program ended with the singing of the National Song-Vande Mataram. We came back enthusiastic to begin work on our Science Research Project for the year 2019-20.
