MOM is just a reflection of WOW!
-Mrs. Geetanjali Agiwale

Class 6C along with their class teacher Mrs. Geetanjali animated the prayer service on an auspicious day-8th September, Mother Mary’ s birthday-with an added focus on the unconditional love of a Mother.
The assembly began with the symbolic lighting of the lamp by Fr. Rector, followed by a concentration technique by Mrs. Geetanjali to get the students to focus on oneself, by detaching themselves from problems and thus become more fine tuned to their own lives.
The students through the prayer service reflected on the role of Mother Mary who the world admires for her love, simplicity and devotion to God. This reflection was further enhanced through the prayer song O Mother Mary. A mother’s love and devotion are incomparable to anything else in the world. The students enumerated various personalities like Shivaji, Charlie Chaplin, St. John Bosco, Harivansh Rai Bachan and an Indian soldier who in life spoke effusively about their mothers. The assembly concluded with various intentional prayers for mothers and children.
Fr. Rector was highly appreciative of the class and the class teacher for impressing upon the assembly the importance of our mothers whom we often take for granted. Of all the gifts that life has to offer a loving mother is the greatest of them all. The role of Mother Mary in the life of Jesus remains an inspiration to us and the ideals set by our own mothers cannot be ignored.
Being the feast day of Mother Mary, the Catholic students of the Secondary section together with staff and parents attended a well animated mass in the shrine that witnessed an outpouring of devotion and affection for our Blessed Mother through offerings, hymns and flowers.
