Let’s Be Friend’s Day -Std. I to IV
-Ms. Sonia Kasare
“Friends are the family that we choose for ourselves.”
We meet many people in our life, but very few end up becoming our closest friends. It is said that, “True friends are never apart, may be in distance but never in heart.” In these difficult times, where our schools are shut and we cannot meet our friends every day, Don Bosco Primary School had a virtual celebration of ‘Let’s be friends day’ on 15th February, 2021 through google meet.
The entire primary section focused on the meaning of true friendship and the importance of friends in our lives through a Power point presentation, videos and songs. A good friend always supports you and is there for you in your good times and in your bad times. Friendship is primarily built on love and trust. In order to have a good friend we need to be one in the first place. They also learnt that we must have one correct and a good friend on whom we can always trust and rely. Friendship is one of the greatest and the best of relationship bonds that people share in the world.
The young Boscoites missed their friends and the school. The teachers could really sense that they were longing to come to school and meet their friends. ” Many people walk in and out of your life but leave foot prints in your heart,” so goes the saying. Boys also enjoyed doing the worksheet specially designed for the day. Malhar Gargote of III D commented, “A Friend in need is a Friend Indeed.” I miss talking and playing with my friends due to the lockdown.” Sarfare Ansh of III A said, “We enjoyed today’s activity on Friendship Day. We also prayed for our best friends’ good health and happiness.” –
