LEAVE A LITTLE SPARKLE WHEREVER YOU GO
-Ms. Angel Chellaperumal

The students of class 6D presented their virtual class assembly on 22nd September, 2020 at 9.15am. Rev. Fr. Rector, Rev.Fr.Principal, Vice Principal, Assistant Head Mistress, Supervisor, the students of class 6D, class teacher and few parents attended the programme online. The theme of the assembly was, ‘Leave a little sparkle wherever you go.’

The assembly began with the presentation-National anthem, followed by the morning prayer and pledge. This year has been incredibly challenging for all of us, we have had to figure out new ways to survive and thrive. The world is changing and so we also need to change the way we think.’Leave A Little Sparkle Wherever We Go’ says it all. It took some brainstorming efforts to figure out a way to make sure that this assembly left a mark on the minds of everyone who sees it. It will always be a special and unique experience for all of us as this was our first ever virtual assembly, but we wanted it to be more than that. We wanted everyone to realise that how we can contribute to the life of other people, knowingly or unknowingly. The students of the class presented skits, a song, a dance which gave a strong message on the values resonating love, friendship, humanity, peace, togetherness, unity, equality and education. The best thing about this whole activity was that all of us got to work together despite not being together under one roof. We learnt that though we are stuck in a crisis our heart still beats as one.

Rev. Fr. Rector, Fr. Crispino D’Souza addressed the students through a story which helped the students to realize the value of leaving a little sparkle in everyone’s life knowingly or unknowingly. He emphasized the importance of love and being loved in one’s life. Fr. Crispino appreciated the boys and their talents. He commended class 6D along with the class teacher for their efforts and hard work. Fr.Principal appreciated the boys’ talents and the class teacher for the well conducted assembly.
