A HUMANITY STILL EXISTS-VIRTUAL CLASS ASSEMBLY 5 A
-MS. DIVYGEORGE

The students of class 5B presented their virtual assembly on 3rd November, 2020 at 9.15am. Rev. Fr. Principal, Vice Principal, Assistant Head Mistress, Supervisor, the students of class 5B, class teacher and few parents attended the online assembly. The theme of the assembly was, ‘Humanity still exists’ based on the theme of our school ‘Committed Citizens Rebuilding the Fragile World’
The assembly began with the National anthem followed by the pledge, the morning prayer and the meaningful meditation conducted by Ms. Bela.
This year is completely a new phase for our children; with a different mode of learning that generates excitement giving ample room to the boys to showcase their talent. The PPT presentation recalled our unsung heroes and the ordinary people who did extraordinary things. The poem that was presented by twin brothers was a great reflection for mankind. The vocal song -Heal the world was sung beautifully by one of the class students along with his older brother who provided the accompaniment on the guitar. The monologue on Corona Virus was creatively presented with a thought to realize and take stock of all that man was doing all along. The musical rendition on the keyboard by one of the class students did chase our blues away. We realized how important it is to take care of our mother earth, help the people in need, and be a real human being during this crisis.
The children prayed for their loving Fr. Rector’s leg surgery and for his speedy recovery. Fr. Bernard Fernandes our Principal addressed the assembly and appreciated the students and parents for their involvement and efforts. Fr. Bernard encouraged the growing young talents with a special mention about the comperes. Our AHM Ms. Christina Mascarenhas congratulated the boys for their talents.
Fr. Bernard concluded the assembly by thanking the Supervisor, students, parents and the class teacher for the well conducted assembly.
