-Ms. Inbarasi Morris

Drawing is not what one sees but what one can make others see”. -EDGAR DEGAS.

The Balchitrakala Competition was launched by the State of Maharashtra for young artists. Twenty-four young Boscoite Artists of the Primary Section willingly participated in Maharashtra State Level Competition, which was held on 10th January, 2021, from 9 am to 12 noon through a Google meet on an online platform. Students were given group numbers according to their standards-Stds I and II belonged to Group 1and Stds III and IV belonged to Group 2. The drawing topics were given on the spot. Students creatively traced out their ‘Imagination into Visualization’.

Drawing is another way of communication to express their views and opinions artistically on a single sheet of paper. It is the simplest and most efficient means of communicating visual ideas. The students were asked to sketch out their views related to the Covid-19 situation in Mumbai. The students enthusiastically traced out their sketches related to the current situation. Our young little Boscoites sketched out the most admirable drawings with lots of creativity which enhanced their interest and exploration through their visual analysis.
