Cultural days at Don Bosco Matunga are notable events that are held annually in the Primary section. They have all the makings of an Annual Day extravaganza – elaborate planning, practices, drama, singing, costumes, participation of parents. These occasions provide the opportunities for our young students to discover their innate talents and develop confidence in themselves.
The Cultural Day of Std III was held on 12th August 2016 at 10 am in the Bianchi Hall. The entire building wore a festive look with decorations, flowers and festoons. The theme for the Cultural Day was “Give Your Hands To Serve and Your Hearts to Love” Parents and relatives of the students of Std. III were present in large numbers in the hall to goad their children into stellar performances as also to be a part of the festivities. The entire section of Std. III participated enthusiastically and every child put his best foot forward to provide a memorable entertainment. Each class presented an item that brought out the message of spreading love, kindness and being the change that they would like to see in the world. There were songs, skits, musicals, dance and well-rehearsed speeches by the students.
The production was well appreciated by the audience, and the Principal had a special word of praise to the students, class teachers, Head teacher and the supporting staff. The hard work, dedication and the meticulous planning by the students and teachers contributed much to its grand success.
