Developing a student`s IQ is an integral part of a school`s curriculum. But here at Don Bosco High School, Matunga, we recognize the fact that developing a child`s EQ is equally, if not more, important.  And hence, keeping this end in mind, as part of its Christmas Panorama program, Jeevan Dhara, an NGO, working with street children and conducting night classes, vocational guidance classes, running balwadis, etc; was identified as the recipient of our Christmas outreach program. Besides this group, our school also identifies some of our Salesian institutions that work with the poor, needy and marginalized children, and these too become the beneficiaries of this outreach program.

The students of the school bring along Items like soaps, biscuits, bed-sheets and towels, toothpastes and toothbrushes and jams and sauces.  They are encouraged to bring these articles with their own pocket money and it’s heartening to note that the students cooperate enthusiastically and generously thus making this outreach program a grand success.
