A long wait for the Tata Shied – Our Athletes bring home the coveted trophy!

The long wait was worth it for the victory tastes even sweeter! Our school bagged the Tata Challenge Shield for supremacy in school athletics after a gap of 42 years

getting the highest aggregate of 48.3 points of all the categories combined. Our boys also won the A.R.M. Sidiki Memorial Challenge Shield for the highest aggregate points in the boys under 14 category, and the Hosey A. Mistry Memorial Challenge Shield for the highest aggregate point’s in the boys under 16 category. The boys added another shield to this-the runner’s up for the Ahmed Sailor Memorial Challenge Shield for boys in under 8,10,12 (Categories Combined).
The MSSA Annual Inter School Athletics Championship 2018-19, was held at University Sports Pavilion, Marine lines from 23rd to 25th November 2018.

Some of the significant winners were:

Under 8 : Royden Koli-Bronze medal in the 50 metres- 100 metres Run.

Royden Koli, Sayhan Khan, Brendon Barretto-Shaurya Padwal – Bronze in the 4 x 100 metres Relay.

Under 10 : Angadsingh Oberoi – Silver in the 100 metres Run and Bronze in the 50 metres Run.

Under 14 : Arzaan Panthaky – Bronze in the High Jump. Areeb Hussain – Bronze in the Discuss Throw.

Under 16 : Ayush Hindlekar – Silver in the 800 metres Run.
