On the 29th of January 2020, student representatives of the secondary section, of the Nature club of Don Bosco High School, Matunga participated in the anti-litter rally. The rally was organised to create an awareness about the importance and the need of waste segregation, reducing the use of plastic, saving water and planting more trees to reduce the effect of climate change.
The rally began from the school premises at 8:40 a.m. with nearly 50 students accompanied by Ms. Angel, Sir Nehal and Ms. Yugandhara. We returned back at 9:30 a.m. The students carried colourful charts, placards and chanted slogans on saving the environment. They also urged people to change their way of living so as to reduce the amount of waste generated.
Making people aware about the effects of their way of living on our planet is the need of the hour. The students of the Nature club of Don Bosco High School, Matunga will continue working towards a better future in all that they do.
