Read, Lead, Succeed

Reading of books is a pleasure. It has a joy of its own. Reading is as necessary for our mind as food is for our body; thus the most wholesome hobby which should be acquired as early in life as possible.
The students of the Primary section celebrated Readathon Day on 17th November 2017. The students began by reading interesting and colorful story books. They shared the stories with their friends in class and discussed the importance of reading. The students then prepared a freeze of the story book they read by using colourful chart papers, pictures and pens thus enhancing the skill of story sequencing, imagination, vocabulary building, self expression, etc. for composition writing. They completed the worksheet that questioned them about the story and the moral value they had learnt from the story they read.
It was an enriching day for the kids who enjoyed every moment of the dedicated time to read stories of their interest other than their lessons. They felt proud of the story freeze book which they created all by themselves.
