The school football teams are enjoying a dream run this year. With over 4 titles already in their kitty, there’s another one added by our talented u-14 football team. On 25th Oct 2016, our boys won the MSSA organized football championship defeating St. Stanislaus, Bandra 2-0 in the finals played at MSSA grounds, Azad Maidan.

The team were earlier declared Mumbai city winners in the DSO organized u-14 inter-school tournament (Shalay Cup) when they defeated Cathedral & John Connon school in the City finals. In the zonals’ finals, the team was outdone by the Reliance team -that is a conglomeration of the best footballers put together – by a narrow margin. The u-14 school team also lost narrowly to Cathedral & John Connon school in the DSO u-14 SUBROTO tournament to emerge runners-up.

The u-16 football team added the sixth trophy (their fourth title this season) to the football teams’ titles this scholastic year when they received the trophy for the third place at the State-level DSO tournament. After having trounced Nashik, and title aspirants Aurangabad, our boys lost narrowly in the penalty shoot out to Pune to be awarded the third place.
Congratulations to our teams and their head coaches, Sir Pillai (u-14 team) and Sir Leslie (u-16 team)!
