Trust Before Understanding & Obedience after Understanding: Class Assembly -XE
-Ms Perpetual Nazareth
The students of Class XE conducted a thought-provoking class assembly on 20th July 2026. Centred on the theme "Trust Before Understanding & Obedience after Understanding" the assembly encouraged students to reflect on the importance of trust, patience, obedience, and accepting guidance from parents, teachers, and elders. .
The assembly commenced with meditation conducted by the class teacher .As the assembly progressed, it encouraged the audience to look beyond first impressions and understand the deeper purpose behind every "No." Through relatable situations, the students effectively conveyed that parents and teachers often say "No" not to control young people, but to protect, guide, and prepare them for a brighter future.
In his address, Rector Rev. Fr. Godfrey reflected on the challenges of adolescence and explaining that true growth in character comes from trusting the wisdom and experience of parents, teachers, and elders, even when their decisions are not immediately understood. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt prayer, seeking God's guidance to develop trusting hearts, wise judgement, and the strength to make the right choices.
The Principal Rev. Fr.Flovi D’Souza appreciated the Class for the creative presentation of a meaningful assembly on the love of Parents which coincides with the Parents Day coming soon
In a touching impromptu moment, all the parents were called up to the front of the stage and a song was dedicated to them. The gesture struck an emotional chord and left several parents visibly moved.
