Happy Women’s Day (Celebrations in the Secondary and Kg section)!

All the secondary male staff members of Don Bosco High School, Matunga took great delight in felicitating the entire lady staff members on the occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’ which is officially celebrated on 8th March. The celebration was held on 11th March due to the on-going SSC exams.
A day prior to the celebration, the ladies staffroom was decorated with colourful balloons and all were asked to wear colour ‘Purple’ as the dress code.
On the day of the celebration, at the beginning of the day during the morning prayer and assembly, Sir Manoj delivered a talk on enhancing women’s qualities and power.
During the short break all the staff members of the Secondary and Kg sections assembled in the colourfully decorated ladies staff room for a celebration. Sir Rajesh addressed the gathering where he highlighted the history of women and her success in the course of the time. Sir Manoj read a poem stressing the beautiful creation of God, ‘Women’ and her abilities. Fr Bernard Fernandes, the principal too extended his heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes to all the lady staff members.
A rose, a bookmark on women power and a gift was given to each lady staff as a token of appreciation. Snacks too were distributed.
It was indeed a great day to be cherished.
